Project aims:

  1. Quantify the effects of small-scale belowground plant ecophysiological processes on largescale hydrodynamic functioning of beech and spruce forests.
  2. Predict soil-plant hydrodynamic functioning of these forests including the effects of vegetation water limitation on key landatmosphere fluxes.
