Oscillation effects onto transport phenomena are subject of an intensive research during last several years because of its importance for intensification of mass transfer processes and equipments. The project proposed is focused on a description of turbulent and ultrasonic oscillations onto suspension hydrodynamics. The aim of the project is to contribute to the theoretical and experimental knowledge on hydrodynamics of flowing particles and suspensions. Experimental verification will be performed by method based on Particle Dynamic Analysis enabling to measure the local particle and liquid velocities in low concentration suspensions. Furthermore two experimental methods utilizing a digital camera and laser knife. It is expected that the results should contribute to the theory of hindered sedimentation, determination of the relative velocity between a suspended particle and liquid in turbulent flow which is of great importance for mass transfer.
