The Week of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
The Week of the Czech Academy of Sciences is a science festival that opens academic departments to the general public and offers a number of interesting lectures on current scientific discoveries. It presents research in all its forms, everyday scientific work and the greatest scientific achievements. Admission to the Academy of Sciences Week events is free, some of the events are held online.
The Institute for Hydrodynamics organises annual open days for schools and the general public as part of the festival.

Science Fair
Every year the Institute of Hydrodynamics participates in the Science Fair, which is the largest popular science event in the Czech Republic. This event has been organized regularly by the Czech Academy of Sciences since 2015. It is suitable for all those interested in science of all ages. The attraction of the Fair is especially the large number of interactive exhibits and experiments that visitors can try out themselves. The event is free of charge.
