Congratulations to Martin Pivokonský (director of the Institute), who this year defended his place in the „Top 2% of the most influential scientists in their fields in the world“. Not only did he defend his position, but he improved his ranking by 4.5% thanks to the higher citation rate of his papers in the year 2023.
This prestigious list is published by Stanford University based on standardized bibliometric indicators of an author’s citation record derived from Scopus database. Two rankings are published annualy, one based on the total number of citations, the other based on the number of citations from the last year. Martin Pivokonský was placed in the „single year“ ranking based on citations received during the calendar year 2023, his field is hydrochemistry, water treatment and technology.
