The Institute of Hydrodynamics of the Czech Academy of Sciences will change its name to the Institute of Hydrology of the Czech Academy of Sciences as of January 1, 2026, in accordance with the resolution of the Academic Council of the Czech Academy of Sciences dated April 29, 2025. The name change reflects a shift in the institute’s scientific focus.
